4th of July boat trip!
For the 4th of July we all decided to take a trip down Polk County's famous Chain of Lakes on the newly repaired pontoon boat. We all had a blast as we cruised around the lake and stopped by Cypress Gardens for some swimming and the world famous ski show. Here are some pics from the trip.
3rd of July Fireworks!
Downtown Lakeland held its fireworks display on the 3rd of July this year so that everyone would be able to stay out late and enjoy the festivities. Amanda, Max, Mimi and I headed down to Lake Mirror to watch the display. Max was terrified at first, but he warmed up to the show as it went on. He still never softened his death grip on Mommy. Below are some pictures that I took with the digital camera. The pics are a little shaky as I did not have a tripod and it was my first try at shooting fireworks.

Update!!!
Ok, so it has been a while....again. Here are some pics of what has been going on. Our good friends Jess and Chad we married recently (congrats!) and Max was the ring bearer and life of the afterparty. Other than that, things are pretty boring here. It's hot so we go to the pool at Mimi and Papa's house and basically just try to stay cool. Hopefully, updates will become more regular as we get more organized. BTW, for those who don't know yet, we have another one on the way!! We are due sometime in feb, more to come on that developing story.
