HEEERRRE'S HARPER!!!!

Okay, here is the big post with the pics from delivery day. I am way too tired to come up with any of the famously clever captions, so you will just have to enjoy the pics. Feel free to play along at home by adding your own captions. Just push the "0 comments" button under each picture. We will be going home from the hospital tomorrow. As always, we will update again soon. Thanks to all for your prayers and well wishes.

Look at these crazy toes!

Look Out World!!!

We have a new arrival! Harper Evelyn Deal was born today, Feb. 8th, 2007 at 3:49pm. She weighs 6 lbs 13 oz and is 19 1/2 inches long. Mother and baby are doing great. I came home from the hospital to take a shower and fully intended on doing a big update with all of the days pictures, but as I sat down to write this, I realized that I left the camera at the hospital. I guess you will all have to wait until tommorrow to see those. Don't worry, the hospital room has wireless internet so I should be able to update from there. Until then, here a little sampling from my cell phone.

New niece!

My sister, Kristy, and her husband, Ed, got their referral this week to go pick up their second adopted girl from China! They will travel towards the end of March. It has been a long and complicated process, but there is finally light at the end of the tunnel. Her name is Ella and we are extremely happy for them and excited to meet her. Here are some pics. For more info, please visit their blog at http://frostography.blogspot.com/. Congrats guys!
Isn't it mysterious how God works? 10,000 miles away and she still got Ed's hair.

More snow!

This Thursday we got even more snow. Apparently it snows here every other Thursday, which is nice because you can plan ahead. I had to work this time, so here are some pics that Amanda took.
He is a pretty good kid, but he's sno angel.

Neuse River Park

Today we found a park that is actually right by our house...and it's better that the one we were at last week. It is very cold here, barely getting out of the 30's today. They say there is a cold front on the way tommorrow. Can't wait.
Here is Amanda, hoping that running water also induces labor.

We are not actually smiling, our faces are frozen like this.

This is what happens when we all flush at once.
