Park Break

This weekend we all went to Lake Parker park with Matt, Deanna and Christian. We had a good time on the slides and the see saws and such. The kids had fun too.

Golf at Disney's "Palm" Course

This weekend I was the greatful beneficiary of Brian's anniversary gift...a round of golf for two at the famed Palm Golf Course at Disney. This is one of the courses where the PGA holds the Funai Classic every year. We were way out of our league but it was a blast. Thanks to Kathy for the thoughtful gift. Here are some pics.

We did not want the day to end, we played until we ran out of daylight...and then played one more hole. Posted by Picasa

We decided that we would be on the leaderboard one way or another. Posted by Picasa

With form this good, who cares where the ball ends up. Posted by Picasa

There is nothing like some encouraging words in the middle of a round. Shortly after this picture was taken, this ball took a trip into those woods in the background. Posted by Picasa

This is the leaderboard where Tiger's name should be permanently painted. To the left of the frame is the lake where my ball rests. Posted by Picasa

The course was beautiful. The play was ugly. Posted by Picasa

The wide open fairways were perfect for our consistent 300 yard drives. Tiger would have been impressed. Posted by Picasa

Here is the locker of the late great Payne Stewart, this is where he kept his wallet while he won the Funai Classic. Brian's locker was directly below this. Hey Brian, just in case, you may not want to fly anywhere for a while. Posted by Picasa
