Falls of Neuse

Today we went to a park on the Neuse River, which is the river that runs through the eastern side of Raleigh...and our backyard. Here are some pics from our trip. They could be the last ones we take outdoors for a while, the cold weather is coming...and so is Harper!

This guy wants to have his kayak and eat it too.
I don't even know whose kid this is.

Snow Day!

Well, we woke up to a white Thursday this morning. Amanda and Maddox both experienced their first mid-Atlantic snow/ice/rain storm. Since these are not common occurrances here, the entire Metro Triangle closed down for the inch of snow. So, no work for me and we all got to go outside to play. Here are some pics and video. We will update again soon with pics of the new house, now that the camera and all the accessories are unpacked.
