Finally! We're Back!

Well, it has been two and a half months since we last posted, and wow, did we have a lot of catching up to do! It is not without good reason, however. The past couple of months have been very trying for us. I started a new job as a part time assistant manager at Janie and Jack, a childrens clothing boutique (which is really fun, but I have been working a little more than I anticipated). Then Josh had his wisdom teeth taken out, to which the Dr. told us afterward that after over 4000 extractions, Josh's was the toughest they had ever done. So his recovery time was much longer than we thought. Then I had 3 ribs out of place and 2 pinched nerves in my back, twice. Was hospitalized with a throat abscess, followed by a stomach virus. Throw in company, a couple visits to the Outer Banks, and a wedding, and we are up to date! We are grateful that the kids have stayed relatively well, (other than Harper deciding not to sleep at night) and the Lord has remained faithful to us. Hopefully things will start to slow down now. Here are all the pics of the events or non-events of the past couple of months. Enjoy!

We really wish she would just smile....

At the Currituck Pumpkin Patch

Well, its that time of year again, and this time Harper got to join us from outstide the womb. At the beginning of October, we went to the Pumpkin Patch in Currituck with Josh's Parents. It was really fun to see a real pumpkin patch and not just a bunch of pumpkins on the front lawn of the church. The kids had so much fun, and Max especially loved the hayride pulled by a tractor. Here are some pics of the day.
Go get your poof!

Mimi's Trip To Raleigh

In the middle of September my Mom, (Mimi) got to come up to visit us for 10 days. It was so nice to see someone from home! We had a really great time, and the kids were so excited that Mimi was living in Max's room for a while. We went to the museum, ate at (or takeout) from all of our favorite restaurants, and celebrated my birthday with the best angelfood cake ever.

Hedgehogs and Stingrays and Snakes....Oh My!

Yes, underwater, we all have devil eyes.

Although a little pensive, Harper still had a nice time.

Max was fine to pose for a picture, but still felt the need to keep an eye on the snakes.

Brings new meaning to a close up.
